Wallet Portfolio Tutorial

Last night I couldn't sleep, which is the case a lot of the time, so I decided to play around with an old wallet thing I made years ago. I revamped it and this is the end result. On the first one I used some of the new G45 papers Voyage beneath the sea papers, and on the second one I used some left over papers from the February kit BoBunny Soiree collection. The video is uploading now. I hope you try one of these they are very useful and easy to make.

Here are some photos and measurements.


you will need a piece of cardstock 10 1/2"x7 3/4"
Score on the long side at 1/2", 5 1/4", 10"
Turn 90 degrees and score at 1/2"
Turn 180 degrees and score at 1/2"


Inside mats 6 3/8"x4 3/8"

First pockets (2) 7 1/2"x4 one for each side
score at 1/2" on the 2 short sides and 1 long side
Mat for these pockets 6 1/4"x3 1/4"

Second Pocket 5 1/2"x3 1/2"
score at 1/2 on 1 short side and 1 long side 
(make sure you score on the correct side)

Mat 4 3/4x2 3/4"


Third pocket 4 1/2x3"
score 1/2" on one long side and one short side
 (again make sure to score on the correct side) see video.
Mat 3 3/4x2 1/4"

Pockets for the opposite side
(3) 2 1/2x4 1/2"
score on 2 short sides and 1 long side at 1/2"
Mat for these pockets is 3 1/4"x1 3/4"

Put down the first pocket 1 1/2" from top of album
Mat your pockets as you go.

Out side mat is 5 5/8"x4 (2)

Spine cover 6 3/4"x1"
score in the center

  2. It can be used for a gift with photos in it. A portfolio to keep important documents in. Just about anything you can imagine.
